Hello and welcome!

I’m Shannon, a proud Filipino-Chamorro photographer, videographer, and editor based in beautiful Washington state.

In Summer of 2024, I decided to take this love for storytelling to the next level and launched our small business, Tasi Media, with my spouse, Tou Po. It started as a videography-focused venture, but as our journey grew, so did our vision. We rebranded to Tasi Studio in January 2025 to expand our services and offer photography.

At Tasi Studio, we’re all about celebrating life's beautiful moments. Whether it’s a family milestone or a special event, we are here to make sure your memories are captured with care, creativity, and a personal touch. We love taking family portraits and have learned the ins and outs of the process over the years with our own family. We understand the importance of patience and a calm approach to ensure everyone enjoys the experience, from the little ones to the grandparents.

Thank you for considering us to be part of your special moments. We can’t wait to meet you and tell your story through our lens!

Shannon Lo

Photographer, Videographer & Editor

My journey with cameras began in the early 2000s when I bought my first point-and-shoot, the Sony Cyber-shot. Back then, I mostly captured family photos, but my curiosity grew leading me to explore shooting and editing videos. As a hobbyist, I immersed myself in learning the basics of photography, shooting video and experimenting with simple editing software.

Over the years, my passion for my camera would come and go. In 2011 I invested in my first DSLR, a Canon T2i Rebel, and used it to document precious memories with my children. But as life got busier, the camera often ended up tucked away, collecting dust, while my phone became my go-to tool for capturing memories.

In 2024, everything changed when Tou Po and I were asked to help create videos for a nonprofit organization. That experience reignited my passion and sparked the idea to start our small business. Looking back, I realized photography and videography had always found their way back into my life, no matter how often I set my cameras aside. Whether using a phone or a professional camera, I’ve discovered that staying behind the lens is where I’m meant to be.

Tou Po Lo

Camera & Aerial Drone Videographer

I accidentally got into videography while trying to document my favorite hobby of fishing. I began from simple phone recordings of my adventures then advanced into action cameras. once experimenting with action cameras, I started exploring into how I can enhance my skills of getting nice shots and sound recordings. my family then moved from the Midwest to the Pacific Northwest where we discovered an amazing cultural dance group. I was blown away by their uniqueness and as a proud "Dance Dad", I felt the need to record my daughters' performances. that eventually grew into documenting and capturing the group's events. It was my moment to be able to dance with my girls and to also be able to show them how their hard work and dedication paid off.

My passion for videography grew and eventually evolved into aerial footages through drone piloting. I plan to continue to grow and evolve with each experience. I am also trying to advance through education by going for a degree with a focus on communication and media studies where I am at the cusp of completing.

Capturing special moments of people is a way I can show them their own uniqueness through a perspective other than their own. I want to make each experience special and personally tailored to show amazing our customers are. Behind each shot is always an amazing story showing a glimpse in time.
